Sometimes, I stumble across things on the web, and realize that I’ve been living under a rock my entire life. When I saw Camille’s $25 Fruitful Vine Creations giveaway on There is a Season…, I had an immediate “AHA! So THAT’S how they do that!” moment.

I don’t generally post other blog giveaways since there are so many sites that already do that (though maybe I should?), but on the off-chance that I’m not the only rock-dweller around here, I thought I’d share this with you! Fruitful Vine Creations creates customized word art for pictures, plaques, and even WALLS - known as wall lettering. The company takes the words you want displayed, and somehow transforms them into a thin matte vinyl, which can be applied to a wall without ruining the paint OR looking like a sticker. Very neat!

For the month of April, There is a Season… is hosting a $25 Fruitful Vine Creations gift card giveaway. The entry rules are to submit your favorite Bible verse via a comment and/or link to Camille’s giveaway post, and tell how that verse has encouraged you.

I’m not entering the drawing (we’re in the middle of remodeling), but without a doubt, my all-time favorite verse is Psalm 91:1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.“. On a Monday morning nine years ago, that verse saved my life…literally…physically, spiritually, and eternally. (Long story…maybe I’ll share it one day .) In the meantime, we have a half-wall above our stairwell that casts a shadow over the stairs, and wall lettering of Psalm 91:1 would fit perfectly! I will definitely order when all of the renovations are complete!
