It’s time for the annual Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day again! The Museum Day event is taking place in museums (and even a few zoos) across the country on Saturday, September 26th, as a celebration of our country’s culture. Though many museums are open to the public year-round without an admission cost, the Smithsonian admission card allows patrons to visit many other museums that would typically charge a fee, provided they visit on 09/26/09.
The Smithsonian admission card allows free admittance for you and a guest. Click HERE to print your Museum Day Admission Card and click HERE to select a museum to visit from the LONG list of participating museums in each state.
The 2009 National Bowling Week kicks off this weekend, and free bowling is included. If you had difficulties accessing the free game coupon a few weeks ago, it’s working now!
The 2009 National Bowling Day is September 5th and free bowling, with a printed coupon, is included in the festivities throughout National Bowling Week (August 29th – September 5th).
Check your local bowling center for additional events, including parties, coaching clinics, and league registrations.
