An Award Of Excellence
Wow - how exciting! iMommies was nominated for this Excellent Award from Money Saving Method! Isn’t that…excellent?!

First of all, I’m a fairly new reader of Money Saving Method, and am really enjoying all of Carrie’s…money saving methods! She has some truly great articles, and I’ll definitely be passing them along in the future!
Second, the order of the award is to pass it along to ten of my favorite blogs, so…here we go with ten favorites (in no particular order) from a loooong list of favorites!
1.) Sense to Save: Kacie, the author of Sense to Save, has already been nominated for this award, but I can’t help it - she’s on my list! Sense to Save is a regularly updated compilation of very thought-provoking savings concepts.
2.) Little Fun; Little Learning: I visit this blog anytime I’m looking for a fun activity for the kids. Because this blog is also authored by Karen from #3 and #4 below, I never worry about the costs of the activities!
3.) Thrifty Mommy: Anyone can post sales and coupons, but it takes a truly devoted frugalist to write refreshing articles, and regularly offer organized saving advice on radio shows. Karen, and co-author Kelly, are awesome - the combination of both of their perspectives offer well-rounded, and well-grounded, money-saving tips.
4.) A Healthy Balance: Just what the name suggests…a healthy balance in all areas of life. I find so many interesting articles at A Healthy Balance…some make me laugh, some make me cry, some help me to appreciate…and ALL make me think!
5.) A Call to Higher Places: If you like CVS, you have to visit Nichole at A Call to Higher Places! If you don’t like CVS…you will after hearing this: Nichole pays less than 1% of CVS retail prices! In addition to CVS, Nichole also posts freebies and sales articles for other stores. Happy Anniversary, Nichole!
6.) Money Saving Mom: Crystal, author of Money Saving Mom, illustrates for readers exactly how she manages a $40 weekly grocery budget for her family of four. Faithfully published each week, you can find the latest weekly deals at most of the major drugstore/pharmacy chains, along with the 101 courses on how to shop them!
7.) Days Like These: Tanyetta, author of Days Like These, makes me laugh like crazy! (Don’t take it like that - I don’t laugh AT her!) She’s just fun, full of life, incredibly witty, adores her family, and I’ve no doubt she’s a blast to hang out with!
8.) Laura Williams’ Musings: I have nothing but admiration for Laura…a stay at home mom of seven, she homeschools her children, writes book reviews, blogs about EVERYTHING, grows her own garden, and I can only guess that’s just a small percentage of the activities that fill her days!
9.) Thrifty Florida Mama: Not just for Florida residents! Angie, author of Thrifty Florida Mama, publishes a variety of articles, all focused on saving money. (This is also one of the few sites that publishes Food Lion deals, so if you’re a Food Lion shopper, definitely check it out!)
10.) Beans & Rice: Beans and rice are okay, but Beans & Rice is twice as nice! I’ve only recently found Rachael, author of Beans & Rice, but I find her variety of household, family life, and money-saving articles useful and enjoyable!
You ALL rank “Excellent” on my list!
