  1. Pookins, you were an awesome best friend to Midnight…without a doubt, she knew how much you loved her. I’m so sorry that you lost your special friend :( . We love you, Wyatt.

Losing a pet is one of the hardest things to deal with. My condolences.
Is that a Siberian Huskie? I have one too…they are the bestest dogs.

I am so sorry for your grief. I am going through the same thing right now. My dog, Mickey, died Feb. 16. He would’ve been 15 in June. There is a beautiful poem that my vet printed up for me that made me feel a little better. It’s called Rainbow Bridge. http://www.rainbowbridge.com/Poem.htm

Your dog knows you loved her, Wyatt. Even when we have busy lives or we get annoyed with them, they always know we love them…that’s why they can never get enough of us.

((((WYATT))) Hope our dogs met at the Rainbow Bridge and are now playing together!

Wyatt…your a great kid…and I’m sure Midnight knew you love him, and I KNOW he loved you too…friends can never be separted..they stay forever in your heart!

Wyatt seems to be wise beyond his years. He figured out that sharing his grief and recounting good memories is the best way to heal. That’s the sign of a good family~

Wyatt, thanks for sharing your heart with us. Midnight sure was lucky to have such a special friend like you! I bet she misses you a whole lot, too, but you both have some really special memories together…how cool is that!

Ok, now I really feel bad. I have three wolf hybrid puppies and a one yr old wolf hybrid that all need homes. If you live in the Houston area and you are in need of a best friend please feel free to contact me. They are hybrid with malmute and siberian husky.

Oh, sweet Wyatt, Midnight knew just how much you loved her. You will never forget her and the special memories that you have. You’ll always carry her with you in your heart. You may even cry a few tears just at the time you think you’re over the crying part. But just think of those special tears as Midnight giving you a big slurpy kiss to remind you of just how special you are.

Sweet Wyatt, I know that I do not have enough words to help you feel better about Midnight. She must have been a special dog for you to have loved her so much. Animals ask for so little and give so much love back. I too have lost my sweet cat “Tomboy” last October and reading your story about your loss brought tears to my eyes. Just remember animals just know that you love them and are content just to share your space. You will always have your memories. My prayers are with you!

The Rainbow Bridge is a wonderful poem. When I lost my first dog I had her cremated and the home gave me a copy of th poem. Many people do not believe animals go to heaven, but our pets are too loving not to be there with us.

Jessica,Lynn,Mary,Sheri,Terri,Kay,Gayle,Naomi and Tina thankyou for responding the people that said their dog died I feel bad for you so much. My mom and dad might buy another malamute. if you have a dog that died or not can I know thier name please?

  12. So sorry to hear of your loss Wyatt. It is very hard to lose a special friend like Midnight. We lost our dog Max 3 days before Christmas and we all miss him very much. (I have 3 kids, 6, 3 and 18 mos) Anyway, Midnight knew he was loved and is waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for you, his best buddy. He wants you to remember him, but he wants you to feel happy about your time together and not be too sad for long. He wags his tail thinking of you and wishing you a happy life.
All the best to you and your family. And thank you for sharing your story!

    Dear Wyatt,
I’m so very sorry! :[ I remember when we first lost our pet, Cracker. He got run over and I remember feeling so guilty because I threw him across a field. Of course, you were a MUCH better owner than I was. ;] And don’t feel guilty, Wyatt.. you were an awesome best friend to Midnight and she loved you very much!! She was always scratching at the door wanting to come inside to see you!! :D But, you’re right Wyatt, Midnight is in heaven. And Jesus loves him very very much (just like Jesus loves you VERY VERY much. :D - Never forget that). I’m very sorry. You’re an amazing inspiration Wyatt! It’s really astonishing how mature and loving you are for being 8 years old and I’m so lucky to have you as my little “bro”. :P I love you bunches!!! :D
