FTD Good Neighbor Day 2008: Free Floral Bouquets

Mr. Rogers would have loved this day…”Won’t you be my neighbor?”. I posted this event last year, and was reminded again this year by Bekah at Motherhood Moment and Heather at Freebies 4 Mom (thanks to both of you!).

The FTD 14th annual Good Neighbor holiday will take place Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008. Not all stores participate, but there are several FTD locations across the country that plan local events, including the free bouquet giveaways, which usually consist of a dozen flowers per visitor. The idea behind Good Neighbor Day is that you keep one flower for yourself, and give the rest away to your good neighbors, but not the bad ones. Just kidding :) . You’re actually supposed to BE a good neighbor, and give the flowers away to any/all neighbors!

(Don’t be discouraged if your local florist isn’t participating. FTD does not actually provide the flowers, so each florist is required to cover their own costs for the holiday. The participating florists deserve a big thank you…and a few extra paying orders throughout the year!)
