Free Night Of Theater 2008 Begins 10/01/08!
It’s that time of year again! The national 2008 campaign of the Theater Communications Group’s Free Night of Theater debuts in over 100 major cities across the country, starting October 16th, and tickets may be reserved on October 1st after 12pm CST. Tickets sell out quickly, so mark 10/01 on your calendar and reserve free tickets for a performance in your area!

Over fifty new cities have been added this year, so check to see if shows are playing in a theatre near you! Though the campaign launches on October 16th, shows are available throughout November.

(Note: Not all cities have published their show listings on the Free Night of Theater website. For those listed in the first link, you’ll need to navigate, from that link, directly to the theatre that corresponds with your area.)

Tanyetta – I’m praying for no natural disasters this year!
Oh yes!!!!!
Thank you so much for your prayers.
Last year was so scary.
I’m going to check the list to see if there’s anything in my area.
I’ll let you know
Wow – there’s some great shows going on in my area – I’ll have to surprise my hubby! So, my show says that it’s tickets go on “sale” on the 4th of October. Does that mean that they are free then, or that the free tickets are available on the 1st, and after the 4th, you have to buy them? Any ideas?
Just wanted you all to know…In Cincinnati, tickets were available today at 10 am. I just heard about it now (9:30 pm) and all the shows available are already sold out. I guess last year they sold 250 tickets in 20 minutes. It’s like winning an auction on ebay…nerve wracking as you try to log on and buy before the other vultures attack! LOL Oh, well, I guess we’ll know what to do next year!
My city’s tickets went on sale today and I barely scored two before they were all gone.
