Free Book: The Ten Year Nap (Offer Expired)
Sounds like an interesting book, either for yourself, or as a Mother’s Day gift for a friend, aunt, mom, etc. This is the summary from New York:
Four women have left jobs as corporate lawyers, investment bankers, and film scouts to stay at home with their children. Now, ten years later, they’re waking up, suddenly questioning a decision they’ve always assumed was the right one. Work, love, family: Is it really possible to have it all?

If interested in ordering this book, free of charge, submit an email to riverheadbooks@us.penguingroup.com with “TEN-YEAR NAP Giveaway Offer” in the Subject line.
Thanks, Brenda!

I just found this blog a few days ago through another blog I read. I LOVE IT! i’m not sure how you find out about all this stuff, but it’s great!!
I LOVE free stuff…and I’m always up for trying a new book!
I definitely want the book, but I won’t miss this opportunity. I woke up from the 10 year nap without a regret-but I’ll tell any young mommie who will listen-keep up with your field & technology while you are cherishing every moment with your little ones! I didn’t, and getting back into the work force was tough!
I’m six years into a very happy balance of lawyering and parenthood. I can’t imagine staying home all week! It’ll be interesting to read about it.
ANOTHER great find, J! You’re the best!
Does this book come in the mail or is it an audio download?
Thank you Thank you Thank you
You did it again!
Jen you are the best, the site is the best, looking forward to your e-mails is the best, did I mention YOU ARE THE BEST?
Also, since I forgot to mention last time, huge congrats on your award, just cannot imagine a more deserving person/site!
Janet
I am in such need of a good book, as I am in the baby-waiting stage right now (due this Sunday). Since nothing is happening physically with my body, I have a feeling I’ll be waiting some more next week. Your blog is giving me some interesting things to read though!
Thanks!
Thanks all! Let us know if you enjoy the book!
