All States: Paid Online Study (Mothers/Grown Daughters)

4

I posted this a month ago, but the study is still going on, and the University of Arizona is looking for many additional participants.  This study involves three members of the family: Mother, Daughter, and Daughter!  Sisters, who are at least 4 years apart, between the ages of 18 and 36, (and their mothers) are needed for a one-hour online questionnaire that investigates the influence of family relationships on behavior.  Each participating family member will be paid for their participation.  Sisters will complete a questionnaire that asks about their teenage years, current life, and family relationships.   Mothers will complete a questionnaire that asks about their family relationships and behavior.   (No, the other participating members of the family won’t see your answers!)

If interested in participating (along with two other members of your family), call 520-626-1573 or 800-841-5945.

i’m 37, my daughter is 20. are we eligible to apply for this? i’m sorry but, my understanding of this is slow today for some reason. :)

  2. Unfortunately not…unless you have another 24+ year old daughter, since the study requires a mother (any age) and two daughters that are four years apart. (Really picky criteria for this one!)

I called today (Sunday, 10/7/07) and at this time they are only looking for families where the biological/birth parents of the two daughters stayed married until the youngest child was 18. Too bad, too, because I had my mom and sister on board – she’s 26 and I’m 31.

I didn’t ask how much they were paying, because I didn’t want to be totally bummed out that we didn’t qualify. Stupid divorce…

    hey amy—thanks for checkin :)

i always get asked the question on why i waited so long to have more kids since there’s such a big gap between my kids. (ages 20 and 3) and people sometimes assume it’s my 2nd marriage..that’s why i was hesistant to call and i couldn’t figure out the criteria i read it 3 times too :) —thanks!
