I just answered the questionaire and got a rejection, despite my having a 6-year-old. Looks like they are looking only for kids with severe behavior problems.

I hate places that require too much info. Why do they always ask for your phone number? Has anyone every received a phone call from anyplace? and I dont like it that Im not really sure who I am giving my info to.I filled it all out till the end then I canceled it.Im not comfortable with all of my personal info out there and no way to check their privacy policy. And I dont even know who ‘they’ are.Are they the Oregon inst. for whatever or iparentinfo surveys?

I have applied and/or participated in several similar studies. You can check out Oregon Center of Applied Science online(www.orcasinc.com), as you should be able to do with any facility conducting focus groups, studies, etc.. If in doubt, just check the site out. And, I’ve never received calls, spam, etc. from any of these groups. I’ve always been contacted by email. They need a phone number to verify your info. If you are hesitant to give it out, just use one of the free sites that assign you a phone # that you can get mssgs on, then you can check your calls online.

I guess my son is too “behaviorally challeged” because my current situation does not qualify us!! Or maybe it is because I am a thirty something married white woman (since they asked for my specs)!!! You never know what they are looking for in a participant. It is worth a try.

I qualified and my daughter doesn’t “severe bahavioral problems”. She has every day run of the mill “children” issues. My kids are well behaved. My daughter is dyslexic & has mild ADD (not the hyperactivity), so I wonder if that is what seperated us.

Thanks Jennifer, for you website I have gotten nearly 90% of participation in surverys since I signed up with you. The extra income is great!

Wow, I got accepted. My son doesn’t have behavioral issues, but he is just now at that age where he’s trying my authority….so….we’ll see how it goes!
