CA & WA: $100 HP Gift Card 03/2009-04/2009 (Printers)

5

HP is recruiting individuals to participate in a four-week beta program for a new wireless deskjet printer, currently scheduled to begin later this month, so participants must be available for printer testing from late March 2009 through late April 2009.  The printer that qualified candidates will receive allows printing of documents and photos, and also provides wireless printing capabilities when connected to a wireless network.  Those who qualify and participate will receive everything needed to evaluate the printer, and a $100 HP gift card.

HP

Candidates must be interested in printing photos at home and willing to install the printer wirelessly. During the four-week evaluation period, a series of tasks using the Deskjet printer must be completed, though completion of the tasks should not take more than a couple of hours per week (more time is allowed and encouraged).  Upon completion of the tasks, participants will be asked to provide feedback through an online survey.

If selected, you will be notified of acceptance into this program within the next few weeks. If you are not selected, your information will be kept on file for future programs.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

HP is looking for evaluators who:

  • Have an interest in printing photos at documents at home
  • Willing to install and use a printer wirelessly
  • Can spend two-three hours per week evaluating a product
  • Willing to provide feedback both in person and through an online survey about your experience

PROGRAM INFORMATION
==================================================

The HP printer to be evaluated in this program is not currently available for purchase.  A beta program is a unique opportunity for participants to evaluate and provide feedback on their experiences with a new product concept.  HP has learned that their customers may use their products in unanticipated ways, so by placing early units in the homes/offices of users, HP is able to learn more about their customers and make a better final product.

The delivery/set-up of the unit would involve two or three HP employees/representatives coming to your home/office for up to three hours to observe your experience in setting up the printer and evaluating basic functionality.

During the evaluation period they request and encourage you to report any and all problems, issues, suggestions, comments, ideas and/or questions regarding the product to HP.  You will be able to easily communicate with HP through your personal VOConline Feedback Center.

There are specific areas of interest where your feedback will be particularly valuable. These include:

  • Product setup issues
  • Error messages/defects
  • Product ease of use
  • Customer satisfaction

If selected for this program, HP’s intention is to leave the product at your home/office for the entire evaluation period. In certain situations, however, it may be necessary to remove the unit early.  If this is the case, a prepaid FedEx airbill will be supplied.  After the evaluation period, those who complete all applicable To Dos and Surveys, and return the beta unit within 2 weeks of the end of the program, will receive a $100 HPShopping.com electronic gift card as a thank you for your time.

  1. [...] Test a HP printer and get a $100 gift card. This is for those living in San Diego or Washington. I can personally vouch for this program. The printer I use here at home I received free after a product test a few years ago. IMommies has more info here. [...]
