I went to Target last night and the Crystal Light coupons wouldn’t scan. They refused to take them. They kept saying I had to purchase the canister because it was the one on the picture. I kept telling them that you don’t have to purchase what is on the picture and the coupon does not specify the size of the product that needs to be purchased. The woman was so rude!!!! Then she tells me that it is Target’s policy that you have to buy what is on the picture and it is Target’s policy to only accept coupons that will scan. I had them take the Crystal Light off my transaction. Then their own Target coupon would not scan and the woman would not accept it because she kept repeating, “it is Target’s policy that we only accept coupons that will scan”. I told her it was from the Target website and she just kept repeating herself. I told her that if they weren’t going to take coupons from Target.com then they should really take them off their website. She still continued to refuse the coupon so I asked for a manager. Some lady who was a supervisor (not a manager) came over and accepted the Target coupon. They would not accept the Crystal Light ones though. I did some searching around last night on blogs and it seems many people are having problems with Target. Before you go, you should really print this out and take it with you:

I haven’t had that exact problem with the Crystal Lite coupons, but I know they usually have to adjust it down to the price of the item, which is fine with me. I sure hope my Target doesn’t get that rude!
I’ve encountered the same problem at Target. I think you just have to find the right person at some stores because it doesn’t seem like anybody knows the “official” policy.

I was at Target today and you can get Duncan Hines cake mixes for .47 cents! They are .97 cents a box but you can use the Target printable coupon for .50 cents off.
I found another pretty good deal. There is a $5.00 Hasbro Pictureka coupon on coupons.com. Target has the travel game on sale this week for $6.64. After the coupon it’s only $1.64. This makes a great extra gift or stocking stuffer.
