Happy Mother’s Day To Me (& You) From SitterCity!
Now, THIS is my idea of a Mother’s Day gift! I love flowers and sapphires and diamonds and all kinds of gifts…but what I love most of all is…time. Time to enjoy the kids and their homemade Mother’s Day cards and gifts, time to relax and enjoy a clean house…just time, in general. Most of us moms spend our days in a constant rush to get things done, and by the time we reach the end of the day, we realize those things that absolutely needed to get done have now compounded themselves. So how does SitterCity help with Mother’s Day, time, and a clean house? In addition to providing local petsitters, housesitters, tutors, babysitters, nannies, and senior care providers, SitterCity also has a database of housekeepers!
From experience, I can tell you that no housekeeper will ever clean my house the way I do - they couldn’t. If they could, I couldn’t afford to pay all of the hours it would surely take them to do it my way. I’ve come to a realization, however, and it’s this: I can be perfectly happy with a little housekeeping assistance!
So here’s how SitterCity works: You search Sittercity’s caregiver database for providers in your area, or post a job and let the providers come to you! Sittercity’s four-step screening process includes free access to background checks and helps you choose the best provider for your family. They offer monthly and annual membership plans…AND a free 7-day trial…AND a 15% discount for iMommies readers!
If you’re looking for help with personal or home care, SitterCity highlights each provider’s photos, resumes, references, reviews and feedback from others, background checks, availability, certifications and training, and more! Just search for providers in your area and then review the individuals from the list. (In our neighborhood, I found over 1,600 housesitters and housekeepers!)
Try it out below or click HERE to access Sittercity’s database of providers in your area! Through the end of this month, receive a 15% discount on paid memberships (monthly or annual) when you use the code IMOMMIES (that’s my favorite code!)!

Happy Mothers Day Jen!!
Link is broken
Happy Mommies Day All :o)
Hi, Kim! Which link is broken? I’ve been able to access all from IE7…
Happy Mother’s Day!
Just wondering if anyone else has tried this. When I registered a job with the site it said the following: This is a FREE TRIAL account. You can see who applies to your posted job, but you won’t be able to contact them until you upgrade your subscription. What’s the deal with that? I would be very happy if anyone can explain this to me.
