Free Premium Coupons From Entertainment Book Preview

The Entertainment Book is a tremendous savings on everyday spending, and as a preview, three premium coupons can be printed this year from their preview site – the Entertainment SaversGuide.  The coupons are offered for businesses in the area code entered, so you’ll have plenty of savings opportunities to choose from in your area.  A few examples in my area: 50% off dry cleaning, 2-for-1 meals at MANY restaurants, $6 movie tickets, 50% off hotel stays, etc.

Entertainment Book SaversGuide

Here’s my recommendation:
1.) Order the 2008 Entertainment Book for your area.  You’ll have access to thousands of savings opportunities at places you’re going to spend money anyway.  Obviously, there will be some coupons you’ll never use, but, in many cases, you can make your Entertainment Book purchase money back using just one coupon.  (And now’s a great time to purchase – $10 off AND free shipping.  In most areas, the total purchase price will be about $15.)
2.) Register with the Entertainment SaversGuide to search/print coupons within an area in which you plan to travel this year.  The SaversGuide can also double as a vacation planning guide…use it to determine the attractions in your destination city that offer discounted admission prices, and keep a list of the restaurants that offer 2-for-1 meals.

As you all know, I like to see coupons that allow you to walk out of a store, or check out online, with little or no money out of pocket…just to name a few, coupons such as:
$5 Off any $5 Tool Purchase from Sears
$15 Off any $15 Purchase from Lane Bryant
$10 Off any Houseplant Purchase from Lowe’s
$5 Off any $5 Toy Purchase from KB Toys

As to not dash your hopes, only to squash them, the links listed above are all still valid, if you’ve not yet checked them out!  I did not include coupons that are now expired, but as we look back throughout the past couple of months, there were some really fabulous  savings opportunities we saw with online coupons…such as:
$15 Off a $15 Purchase from The Limited
$5 Off a $5 Purchase from Things Remembered
Unlimited Free Frozen Breakfast Food
Unlimited Free Juicy Juice
Another $15 Off a $15 Purchase from Lane Bryant
Free Bottle of Clinique Happy Perfume
$5 Off any Polly Pocket Toy Purchase
(Again…just to name a few)

While it’s really nice to see these types of printable coupons, they simply don’t exist for everything.  It is possible, however, to save some of the money you plan to spend throughout the year anyway…expenses such as:
Haircuts
Dining Out
Movie Tickets
Dry Cleaning
Florist Orders
Hotel Stays
Shoes & Clothing
Etc.

Entertainment Book Premium Discounts

Here’s a savings example from my own family, thanks to the Entertainment Book: We have Family Night every Friday Night.  We have a rotating schedule so that each Friday Night, one member of the family chooses where we go out for dinner.  That means every Friday Night, our family spends between $40 and $60 just on dinner (well, $25 on the weeks our 3-year old gets to choose McDonald’s – or Hot Donalds, as she calls it :) ).  Over the course of a year, we average $2600, just on Friday Family Night dinners.  Of course, it’s unrealistic to expect that we’d always eat at a restaurant that offered a 2-for-1 meal coupon, so we average one Dining Out coupon per month, and save about $120, by the end of the year.

That may not sound like much of a savings, BUT…it’s money we would spend anyway, and after purchasing a $15 Entertainment Book, we’ve still profited $105.  That’s $105 in savings on just one regular expense.  Our savings only multiplies with coupons for haircuts, shoes, movie tickets, etc.

Combine that savings with coupons used during vacation from the Entertainment SaversGuide, and it just makes ‘cents’…and lots of them!

Real savings on all you do!

A tip to save even more on your Entertainment Book 2008 purchase: Sign up for an account with Ebates, and then search for “Entertainment Book.”

You’ll get $6 cash back for the book purchase, and if it’s your first purchase through Ebates, you’ll get a bonus $5 back, for a total of $11 rebate.

And hey, if you decide to sign up for Ebates because I suggested it, won’t you include my e-mail address as your referral? I’ll get $5 for it :)

OK, I did too. So you earned another $5.00!
Also, if you sign up to recieve the book yearly, you get another $5.00 off, so mine cost only $10.00.
I use the monthly Ralphs $5.00 coupon and we do not go out to eat without a coupon. I am addicted to these books!
    thanks for the info!
(also, last year I sold a few of the entertainment coupons (BOGO) that I did not need on Ebay. The book totally pays for itself.)
