LeAnn, they did that with my credit card, as well for the memory card. I think it’s just a temporary hold to make sure that there are actually funds in your account.

I just wanted to let you know that I read on a lot of different review sites that they should pay you $10 to throw it away for them. Just in case you want to save your GCO for the memory card or something else.
