Free Bus Tickets (From Megabus)!

13

Book your bus travel dates by November 28th and pay $0 for Megabus bus tickets across the Northeast and Midwest! Megabus is giving away 100,000 free tickets…after the first 100,000 have been “sold”, tickets will start as low as $1. I’ve never taken a bus on vacation, but free travel in this economy is oh-so-tempting!  (Anyone have any prior experience in this area that you’d like to share?)

Megabus

The bus tickets are valid for travel January 14th – March 18th, and Megabus only accepts bookings 70 days in advance. If your desired travel date takes place after January 24th, make sure to check back as soon as you reach the 70-days-prior date.

About Megabus: Megabus began its U.S. expansion in Chicago last year and now provides inexpensive and comfortable ground transportation to Midwest and East Coast residents. All of its coach buses offer air conditioning, bathrooms, reclining seats and express service to each specified destination. Buses offer FREE Wi-Fi and video services as well.

I have never taken Megabus, but my cousin has. I live in Cleveland, and she used to live in Chicago, so she used to take Megabus to come home and visit all of the time. She never had any problems. They would stop once or twice at a McDonald’s for food and rest. She would jump all over this free offer if she were still in Chicago. Thanks for posting the deal.

My daughter has been riding Megabus from Chicago to Columbus to come home from college on short breaks. She has told me some buses are nicer than others. Their major stop is Indianapolis. No frequent stops are great compared to Greyhound. I know Chicago departure is from Union Station. In Columbus, it is at the city bus hanger and there is no building to go inside. The bus has arrived early and late and I worry about what if I’m not there when she arrives. The prices are fantastic! It usually costs $15 each way. For Thanksgiving it jumped to $60 each way. The sad thing is the bus goes right past our house on it’s to Columbus 45 miles further on. LOL The site is easy to navigate. You must print out your ticket info when purchasing. The bus driver checks it with his roster when boarding.

The link on your page which is pictured as being for Megabus.com directs you to Travelzoo.com instead as well. I know I can search for the site myself, but it would have been nice if you had linked it to the icon.
