The savings plan requires that you open a free Save Yourself savings account through TD Ameritrade by 03/31/08 and electronically deposit $50 into that account for 12 consecutive months (earning interest throughout the entire 12-month period). At the end of the 12-month period, TD Ameritrade will deposit a $100 bonus.

Unfortunately there is nothing on this site that helps you find how to open an account “Save Youself-Ameritrade” unless I’m overlooking it. If it is there it should not be this difficult to find. By the way I had to go to the Ameritrade site to get this far. Nothing(!) on SusieOrman.com related to what she spoke about in her interview on the Today Show 3/6/2008.
