I usually get these promos directly from Spring Hill (a GREAT company-I’ve ordered many times and have always been satisfied!) but didn’t get this one. Thanks for helping me get a head start on spring planting!!

Spring Hill Nursery is also a United Mileage Plus Mall merchant so you get 9 miles for every $2 you spend. Even if it is only a couple of bucks that you go over…hey, free miles! Go to their website via the united mileage plus mall site.

I got the Deluxe Rose Miniature Collection (normally $47.95) on clearance for $19.99! I only had to pay about eight bucks to ship it!

    Thanks for the info!

Great Find! I also went through ebates for 8% cash back. I guess I’ll wait and see if they credit my account since this wasn’t technically an ebates code. Either way - still good!

Just tried it and received message “Catalog expired on 03/27/08.”

After shopping for an hour, I tried to check out & the catalog expired March 27. I was so into shopping that I shopped right into the next day! Maybe next time…

[...] has a coupon for $20 off a $20 purchase at Spring Hill Nursery. I’m all over free [...]

    Expired=(

  21. L, 30. March 2008, 14:11

WAIT!!! I found it had expired to when I put the code in. Then, I went online to look for other nurseries to see what other deals were out there and found this link, ordered, and it worked. You don’t need a code either, just go off this page to order. Cool!

  22. L, 30. March 2008, 14:37

Hmm. I swear it was there and I really did order and get the deal. But now when I go there, the offer is gone. Wondering if their site recognizes it’s previous visitors who’ve already gotten the offer so no one can use it twice?

  23. L, 30. March 2008, 14:40

Forgot to say…for anyone who still wants to give it a try…I found it by typing “nursery online” on Google and it came up 1st.

  24. Denaye, 1. April 2008, 16:51

L– I clicked on your link and it worked fine! It did say one per family, so it probably uses cookies and blocked you from doing it again!

Thanks for the heads up! I was pretty bummed by the expired notice, but you made my day! Can’t wait for my berries to arrive!

Thanks! I have a deal/freebie website that I posted this on to share with others. I hope that was okay. I appreciate you sharing this!

  26. Sienna, 4. April 2008, 10:18

I used the code and hit “submit” for my order after the screen told me that I would be paying the $4.95 for shipping, nothing else. All good right??? No!!!!! I checked my credit card statement and they charged me $19.95!!!! I called and they told me that this code was coupon abuse and that they did not accept it. So they just went ahead and charged me an extra $15 that I didn’t agree to!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is crazy!!!!!! Check your credit cards, they may have overcharged you too without permission.

  27. Sienna, 4. April 2008, 10:59

I just called and they ended up refunding me the entire thing (after trying to intimidate me) I think because they knew that what they did was illegal. They also said that I could keep the plant. Sketchy business practices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  28. Hallie, 4. April 2008, 13:39

I did this deal too and order $20 which the site said would be only $7.95 for shipping. They charge me $19.95 too! I am on hold with them right now getting it resolved.

  29. Hallie, 4. April 2008, 13:43

He said the coupon code is not valid and it is messing up their system. He said they’d reimburse me.
Beware and don’t do this deal–it isn’t valid!!!

  30. GK, 7. April 2008, 8:48

I made a purchase right after reading this post and my web receipt showed me I got the discount and my order total was $8.47. I received the plants couple of days back and the printed receipt is showing $21!! I tried calling their customer service and the lady asked me to send the details of the offer and the issue to them.

  31. Hallie, 8. April 2008, 8:59

Spring Hill has an unconditional guarantee on their website that says they will refund your $ at ANY time if you are not satisfied. It is simply unacceptable that SH has charged us more than stated (and more than we authorized) during an online order.
If this has happened to you, speak up when calling customer service. You are definitely not satisfied. They should refund your $. Then follow up by checking your statement to be sure that they have done so.

  32. Malinda Kordell, 9. April 2008, 11:24

Thy got me for 19.99 instead of the $7.95 that even shows on my order history page on their website. Not to mention, some of the plants were dying, dry and losing leaves. However, I was told to wait 2 to 3 days for someone to call me back from Spring Hill and hopefully this will be adjusted. Note: Maybe calling the credit card company and put a hold on the charge until Spring Hill reimbuses might help.

  33. Tracey, 10. April 2008, 8:39

I had the same problem, confirmation e-mail said charges were $7.95 but my card statement showed I was charge $19.95. Customer service was rude, said they didn’t know anything about this coupon & that if I refused delivery they would refund the amount charged. Sure, I can sit around waiting for UPS to show up. More trouble than its worth. Don’t waste your time with this one!!

  34. Sarah, 11. April 2008, 8:11

I had the same problem with my card being charged $21 when online my total was only for s&h. However, customer service was kind and helpful and they immediately removed the extra amount from my credit card.

  35. Malinda Kordell, 11. April 2008, 10:38

No one has called back so I went and called my credit card company this morning. They said they will credit me the difference and put in a dispute claim with spring hill. I recommend doing the same. Buinessiness are not allowed to charge more than you authorize them to.

  36. Jennifer, 21. April 2008, 14:13

Had the same problem, was charged $19.95 instead of $7.95, CSR said only $8 was taken off for the coupon, told her my order detail printout said otherwise. She was going to have the other $12 credited back to my card, but said it could take a week or two, so I guess we’ll see. Then tried to get me to buy something else, uhh, no thanks.

  37. Stephanie Chance, 23. April 2008, 10:44

I have had the same problem. If they were going to charge more than we agreed to, they should have let us know before shipping it. I have called, emailed, and faxed in my information, so I am waiting to hear something. I will call again after lunch.

  38. S Miller, 29. April 2008, 22:55

Oh what a scam!!! I also had my postage free, but was charged for the plant. The customer service did some double talk with me. They said that they couldn’t credit me for the $20 because I had already received it. Dah—how could I know that they had scammed me until I got the bill. Not only that there were no instructions as to planting the tree. Doubt that it will grow either. Will I ever order from this company or recommend it? I will call again and try another person. I told them I was reporting on their service, and I will contact my credit card company next.
