Airborne Class Action: Product Reimbursement
Thanks to Andrea for emailing this information about the Airborne class action settlement. The claim is that Airborne made false claims about it’s ability to cure and prevent colds. If you purchased Airborne before November 29, 2007, you’re entitled to a refund.

If you still have your receipts, there is no limit to the number of purchases for which you may receive refunds. (By the way, all prescription and non-prescription purchases are tax-deductible, so save all of those receipts!).
If you no longer have your receipts, you may submit up to six product purchases for reimbursement.
If you purchased any Airborne products between May 1, 2001 and November 29, 2007, click HERE to access the class action settlement site. Claim forms may be submitted via mail or online.

This makes me so sad because I loved that story about the teacher who invented this stuff. I seriously think it helps too!
I think this is sad also. I love airborne. I have told many people about it and they think it works also!!!!! I have been using Airborne since it came out. I have been sick 1 time. I will not quit using it.
WILL THESE LAW SUITES EVER END!!!!!!!!!
This is a shame. This is a ploy probably initiated by large drug companies. I have used Airborne ever since it was advertised. It does work. I works best when you know you have been around someone with a cold, and you take it as soon as you can. It really does prevent you from catching that cold. I will continue using Airborne also. I am rarely sick with a cold thanks to Airborne.
You know, I’ve never tried Airborne, but you guys are making a really strong case…perhaps I should try it!
Vitamin C works at a much cheaper price! Don’t get dooped! I like the emotional appeal that a teacher made it — guess what, I am a teacher too! If you want to be loyal to a brand that does cheats and scams it’s vulnerable consumers then you get an F for FOOL from me!
I also have found that Airborne has helped me. I take it immediatly after being in the company of a person who already has a cold or if I am going to be in close quarters with many people. I very sedom catch colds anymore and when I do I have found they are over and done with in half the time as before and I don’t feel near as miserable as I did before I dscovered this product. I had stocked up on it so I have enough to take for awhile but I sure will be unhappy to see it leaving store shelves.

Airbourne contains the maximum amount of vitamin A that is recommended as a safe dose. The package claims that you can take 3 Airbourne tablets a day. This triples the recommended value. Vitamin A overdoses can cause liver damage among other problems. Extreme overdoses (including overdosing over an extended period of time) can cause vitamin A to act as a toxic substance which can cause reduced bone density leading to osteoporosis as well as nerve damage. This is only the first of many substances that can cause health problems in Airbourne. Look it up and be careful when using any health substance not prescribed or recommended by a doctor.
