I just wish they would get restaurants in my area! The closest ones are over 100 miles away.

Great deal, but all the restaurants are far away from us. They used to have places close, but now it is just not worth it. Great for someone in a big city though!

Just be sure and read the fine print first. I bought 4 $100 gift certificates, but realized afterwards that you can only use one gift certificate per restaurant per month and it is only good on a minimum $200 purchase! Yeah, sure. So, it’d be okay if I could find several friends willing to go and run up the $200 tab, then pitch in on the tip. Now I’m pretty much out the $32 I spent. All in all you end up spending what you would’ve spent normally…maybe even more.

I used one today and it was SO good and I can’t believe it only costed me $2

Thanks SOO much! Now that I saw first hand what an awesome deal it was, I’m going to buy a million more as Christmas gifts!

Amanda, it’s not fine print about the minimum purchase, and you are not out $35! It expires in a year and its a really really great deal. It says on each restaurant square as you click $25, $100, etc that each is a minimum of so much.

I bought a $25 with a minimum of $35, that’s only $10 I have to pay at a restaurant for a $35 meal! How did I pay more than I spent? That doesn’t even make sense.

I think you’re looking at it all wrong. You did not waste your money, you got such an awesome deal and I’m glad iMommies let us know about it.

Amanda, I think you have 90 days to exchange your gift certificates. I haven’t tried it but that might be an option…you could exchange all your gift certificates for lower denominations. So instead of $100 gift certificates, get a couple $25 instead. Most $25 ones are good on a minimum purchase of $35-50, depending on the fine print. So if 2 people spent the minimum to maximize the discount, say on a $50 minimum, apply the $25 gift certificate…then you’ve spent $25 extra plus the price of the gift certificate, which is usually $10, but right now it is $2. That means you’ve spend $27 on a $50 meal, not including tax & tip. You’ll save even more if the minimum is $35 & you can get the total to be close to that minimum. Yeah, it takes some calculating but you save!
