Free Children’s Book Every Month (Birth To Age 5)
Last week was Dolly Parton week on American Idol, and this week is Idol Gives Back, so this seemed like an appropriate time to mention Dolly’s Imagination Library, a program through which she gives back, and encourages other communities to do the same. Parents within participating communities can register with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, and receive a free book for their children under the age of 5. Children will receive one free age-appropriate book, each month, until they reach their 5th birthday.

This is such a wonderful program. My kids loved receiving a book in the mail every month and were sad to be too old for the program.
none in my area either… but that would of been great!

Thanks for this info. I got this message & will call tomorrow: “Although the Imagination Library is available in your area, currently your Affiliate is not accepting Online Registrations. Please contact XXXXXX for steps to manually register your child.”
