Happy 2nd Birthday, Swag Bucks, and thanks for another day (and another year) of birthday gifts!  Swag Bucks, a search portal that pays everyday internet users like you to use their search engine, released Swag Bucks 3.0 today AND…a swag code worth 60 Swag Bucks for new members!!  (For those of you who already enjoy the perks of Swag Bucks, SBs are now worth ten times their previous value…though prizes cost ten times more than before, so it all evens out.)

Swag Bucks 2nd Birthday

If you’re new to Swag Bucks, click HERE to register (it takes less than a minute), and enter the IMOMMIES1 code to start off with 60 Swag Bucks.  (In case you’re wondering, 60 Swag Bucks is enough to purchase one of a couple hundred of the lower end prizes, including a $5 DiNG gift certificate.)

All users can follow Swag Bucks today on their blog, Twitter, and Facebook to earn more free 2nd birthday Swag codes!

What else is new/happening today at Swagbucks.com?

1.) More ways to earn Swag Bucks every day: With Swagbucks.com 3.0 users will be able to earn by logging in to the Swag Bucks toolbar on their browser and also by simply viewing ‘No Obligation’ special offers. This means that in addition to all the regular ways to earn, the more you are engaged with Swagbucks.com, the more you will earn!

2) New look home page, Swag Store, and rewards store: Swagbucks.com 3.0 will include a revamped, cleaner interface that promises to provide a better user experience.

3) Launch of the Swagstakes Portal: Swag Bucks currently runs about a dozen on-going sweepstakes (called Swagstakes) at any given time. With the launch of 3.0, they have a brand new, fully stocked Swagstakes portal in which there will be dozens of Swagstakes running at all times! Some contests will be limited entry (meaning a set number of entries will be offered) so the odds for a user to win are greater. The tentative list of items that will be offered during initial launch include: $100 Amazon Gift Cards, Sony Bravia 32″ TV, Amazon Kindle, Apple iPod Touch, Flip Ultra HD Camera, Panasonic Blu Ray with Remote, Apple iPad, Sopranos Complete Series Box Set, Rachel Ray 10 piece cookware set, Playstation 3 system + games bundle, Canon Powershot Camera, Seinfeld Complete Series DVD box Set, Vizio 22″ LCD TV and plenty more!

And “the dinner winner” is…Sherrie!

Embrace Dinner

Congratulations, Sherrie!  An email has been sent to the address entered with your comment.  Just reply with your mailing address and I’ll drop these in the mail!

Thanks to all who entered the Dinner for Four (Nights) Giveaway!  If you didn’t win the four coupons for free Tyson Heat ‘N Eat Dinner Meats, but would still like to try one of these quick recipes, click HERE to share how you “embrace dinner”, and receive a money-saving coupon via email.

According to the 2008 New American Diner Study, 80% of Americans make weekday dining decisions based primarily on convenience.  I was surprised at that number – really expected it to be more along the lines of 99%!  I’m not sure exactly how it happened, but I could swear that there are now only four hours in a day…what happened to the other 20?!

Embrace Dinner with Robin Miller

As part of my quest to be less mealtime LAST-minute, I’ve tried a myriad of different recipes, and the next on my list is from Robin Miller’s Mealtime Minute with Tyson…Brisket Quesadillas with Creamy Salsa Dip.  They’re intended as an appetizer using Tyson’s Braised Beef Brisket with Mild Chili Sauce, but if served with a bowl of pinto beans or a side of Spanish rice, this should actually be a faster and less expensive dinner than a last-minute call to On The Border.  Best of all, these quesadillas require no expertise beyond combining ingredients and heating in a pan!

What do you think?  Looks pretty good, right?  And Robin Miller only took about a minute to explain it, so it already seems like a ”Quick Fix“!  Robin has published six other quick recipes using Tyson’s Fully Cooked Heat ‘N Eat Dinner Meats, so if you’re not in the mood for Tex-Mex, there are alternatives!  Each recipe requires one dinner meat and serves a family of four.

Alright, I don’t like to cook alone, so if you’d like to join me on my latest attempt at a tasty quick dinner, enter to win a set of four free product coupons (valued at up to $6.99 each and valid through 02/01/10) for Tyson’s Fully Cooked Heat ‘N Eat Dinner Meats (available in your grocer’s refrigerated meat department).

To enter the drawing, leave a comment below by Midnight CDT on Sunday, October 11th.

Increase your chances to win by earning bonus entries!  Post the giveaway on Twitter, Facebook, blogs, other networking sites, etc.  Leave one comment for each bonus entry, and include the link to your post/site in your comment.
