Their free checking account requires you to set up a direct deposit to avoid the $10 monthly service fee, but their savings account is free with a $100 minimum balance. If you don’t use State Farm Insurance, opening a State Farm savings account will provide you with free TurboTax tax filing, with the least amount of hassle.
