Eyeglasses For $29 (Through 11/10/07)

Through November 10, you can purchase a complete set of eyeglasses (lenses and frames) from 39dollarglasses.com for just $29.  Though both sites supply the frames and lenses, complete with a one-year warranty, 39dollarglasses.com has a far better selection than 25dollareyeglasses.net, and their selection process is more reliable (you can view exact sizes, etc.).

Free Or Discounted Medicine (Through 11/10/2007)

Tylenol has voluntarily withdrawn several infant medications due to misuse and accidental overdose.  (Apparently, I’m unable to read between the lines - I’m not sure how accidental overdose from misuse requires a drug to be withdrawn from the market, but I’ll take their word for it.)  Tylenol is encouraging parents to discontinue the use of these medications in children under the age of two, and is providing a free $5 off coupon good toward several medications, including infants’, children’s, and adults’ dosages of Tylenol, Benadryl, PediaCare, and others.  Depending on the medication you purchase with the coupon, the final cost should be $0, or slightly over.  At our local Wal-Mart, Tylenol Children’s Pain Reliever and Fever Reducer costs $5.47…love the $5 off!

Back-To-School Savings At Eyeglass World

There are some really great options for eyewear shopping - if you’ve not seen my other posts on this topic, check out Eyeglasses for $25 and Eyeglasses for $39.  Both of those sites supply the frames and lenses, complete with a 1-year warranty, but allow an online-only shopping experience.  If you’re more comfortable with trying on the frames first, Eyeglass World has several back-to-school specials for corrective wear.

Eyeglass World

Specials include: Buy 1 Get 2 Free (plus $45 eye exam credit), 2 pairs of children’s glasses for $99 (includes frames and lenses), and regular pair of glasses for $39.
