Free 2GB Dane-Elec SD Card

If you’ve not yet taken advantage of the Google Checkout promotion on Buy.com, here’s another great one…the Dane-Elec 2GB Secure Digital Card, regularly priced at $39.99, is now on sale for $10, and free with Google Checkout. Perfect price for storing additional photos from your digital camera (though it can also be used in most other electronic devices that use standard SD cards)!

1.) Click HERE to access Buy.com
2.) Click the Weekly Advertised Deals tab at the top of the page
3.) Click on the $10 Dane-Elec 2GB SD Card image to display the product details
4.) Add the item to your Buy.com cart
5.) Select Google checkout to receive the $10 discount
6.) Select free shipping. (If your total isn’t $0, you’ve missed a step (unless you live in the sales tax states of California, Massachusetts, or Tennessee.)
7.) Receive your free 2GB Dane-Elec Secure Digital Card within a few days (usually much faster than their website indicates)

Buy.com allows one free Google checkout item per email address and credit card. (You’ll have to enter your credit card information to check out, but once the Google Checkout discount is applied, your item will be free.)

I am not able to get this to work. I keep getting an error message, and then it closes down the page. Has anyone else had luck with this?

Thanks for this tip! I just completed the deal, and it worked perfectly. Just a note: I was looking for the actual words “free shipping” in the choices and didn’t see it, so I started over. Then I noticed in the drop-down menu there is “budget shipping” or words to that affect, where the total for shipping is $0. Hope that helps.

Thank you for this!! I tried it, thinking that $10 for a card was a great price, even if it didn’t take the $10 off. But the discount applied and all and I got a free memory card!! For one who is interested in photography, I know that when I start taking pictures I can fill a card up rather quickly, and it’s always nice to have another one. :) So thank you for sharing this, I’m going to help my mom do it as well. God bless you!

I just ordered this SD card, but as I have a merchant account with Google checkout for my online auctions, I paid $10.00 for the card, which is still a great bargain for me, as I live in the country 25 miles from where I could purchase one. With the price of gas at $3.29 a gallon, a sales tax of 6.3%, the $10.00 cost with free shipping was a no brainer.

I used my husband account and it didn’t work, so I created a new one and is still saying there is an account already created with this email. I wonder if is because I already used my debit card with google checkout.

I can’t even find the item. Do you think they have already removed it from the website? Because I’m not even seeing it in the products that are displayed. How could they have already pulled it?
