Sunday’s deals at Rival Deal!
Today’s deals are:
Deal of the Day!: Transcend 4GB JetFlash V30 – $15
DVD of the Day!: Batman Begins – Widescreen – 2005 – $10
Yesterday was apparently an AWESOME day for Rival Deal! They are almost sold out on the Nikon Camera, and sold almost 100 copies of The Office – Season Two. They COMPLETELY sold out of the LED flashlight. I knew they would go fast! I always need a flashlight in the car, and I never have one around.
Today’s deals are:
Deal of the Day!: SanDisk Sansa m250 2GB MP3 Player – Black – $37
DVD of the Day!: The Office – Season Three – 2005 – $25
Featured Products:
- Swarovski Crystal 16” Chain with Heart and Circle Dangle – $27
- Nikon Coolpix L18 8MP Digital Camera – $109.95
- Transcend TS4GSDHC6 4GB SDHC card – $15
- The Office – Season Two – 2005 – $25
There are many websites out there claiming to offer great deals on stuff we need to actually buy, but sometimes those sites are difficult to navigate and find the right product. This is where Rival Deal comes in. Rival Deal is an online store, but what makes this store different than others is that it only offers ONE (1) great deal every day. There are other smaller deals on the site, but only one that is featured.
iMommies is proud to bring you the Deal of the Day! on Rival Deal. For example, today’s Deal of the Day! is a Nikon Coolpix L18 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom in Ruby Red. Not a bad deal!
Also…and this is awesome!…Rival Deal offers a DVD of the Day!, as well. Today’s DVD is The Office – Season Two for only $25! I was just at Target the other night and saw this for over $34! And what’s great about the DVD’s, there is NEVER any shipping!
What’s also nice is that it uses Google Checkout for its transactions, which means that, if you’ve been buying stuff on other sites I’ve talked about on iMommies, then you’re already set.
There are a few other products there at good deals, too. I’ll let you see them for yourself. Let me know what you think of this great site.
If you missed the 80% discount earlier this week, Restaurant.com has extended the discount through Monday, November 24th! Restaurant gift certificates purchased over the next three days will cost only $2 for a $25 certificate and $0.60 for a $10 certificate (no limits)!
Book your bus travel dates by November 28th and pay $0 for Megabus bus tickets across the Northeast and Midwest! Megabus is giving away 100,000 free tickets…after the first 100,000 have been “sold”, tickets will start as low as $1. I’ve never taken a bus on vacation, but free travel in this economy is oh-so-tempting! (Anyone have any prior experience in this area that you’d like to share?)
The Week 9 photo contest begins today and the theme is “Sports”! Many of our fall sports seasons are wrapping up, so send in those favorite action shots, and enter to win a free copy of America at Home, with YOUR favorite photo on the cover! For details about the book itself, click HERE.
(To purchase a copy for a gift now, America at Home has provided a $10 discount to all iMommies readers! Enter the IMOMMIES promotional code at checkout to receive $10 off of the purchase price.)
The Week 8 photo contest has ended and a winner has been chosen! Congratulations to Martha for submitting the winning photo for the “America” contest!

Thanks to Money Saving Mom for passing this along! Not only can you earn points toward free gift cards from all of your online searches and shopping, you can also earn points from the online searches and shopping of your friends and families!
If you never refer one friend or family member, you can still earn free gift cards just from generating your regular online searches from Swag Bucks. Depending on how many searches you typically generate, you’ll probably earn enough Swag Bucks every month or two for a free $5 gift card. Yippee, right?
Perhaps I should introduce you to a professional who is so dedicated to “economic endeavors”, that she’s paid for most of Christmas with her Swag Bucks (several hundred dollars worth)! Wowza! Good job, Lavonne! That’s an Economic Endeavor of Excellence!
Restaurant.com has surprised us all with an 80% discount on gift certificate purchases through Thursday, November 20th! Restaurant gift certificates purchased over the next three days will cost only $2 for a $25 certificate and $0.60 for a $10 certificate (no limits)!
Since certificates from Restaurant.com are good for one full year from the date of purchase, they make excellent “buy ahead of time” stocking stuffers!
JC Penney is giving away one free Flirtitude panty (approximate retail value: $7.50) to each customer who presents either a Seventeen.com printout of the home page or the December 2008/January 2009 cover of Seventeen Magazine.
For each of the 25,000 panties given away, JC Penney will also donate $1 to the JC Penney After School Fund.
