Freebie List 11/21/07: Pet Food (Give And Receive)

Karen said it best when she said “We like ‘free’ so let’s give some ‘free’ back with just a click.”!  Today’s Freebie List has a couple of options for free pet food donations to animal rescue sites, as well as free or discounted food coupons for your own pets.

Midnight Mixik

Wyatt’s new puppy…but adored by the entire family!  This puppy, from the Giant Malamute breed, just flew in from Colorado on Friday night as a 7th-birthday surprise for our son.  (Apparently, her full-grown weight should not exceed 150 lbs…heh?  Bring on those dog food coupons!)

Stock The Pantry 11/21/07: Dairy Products

Printable coupons that allow shoppers to print in a quantity they determine is worth the time involved to locate, print, shop, wait for cashier to scan coupons, etc.  Printable coupons that restrict the number of times you can print are more hassle than I’m interested in (unless the value of the coupons makes up for the hassle…it’s always money vs. time!).  The Bricks Coupon generator is one of the most annoying coupon services I’ve come across, for two reasons: it allows you to print only 2 coupons AND the thing shuts down other open internet windows when printing.  Generally, I stay away from anything associated with Bricks, but these coupons are pretty good - over $12 of dairy products for about $0.50.

I’m fairly NASCAR-illiterate, but here’s what I do know: Arby’s is one of Matt Kenseth’s sponsors, and for every NASCAR race that Matt wins, Arby’s gives away free orders of medium curly fries the following day.  Matt won the race today, so free fries for everyone tomorrow (11/19/2007).
